How do I make a hire booking?
Browse our range of equipment for hire then simply fill in the hire booking request form online

What is the minimum rental period?
For your convenience we have Half Day, Full Day, multi-day and monthly hire options on most of our equipment and tools.
The minimum hire period is our Half Day option of 4 hours or overnight providing the equipment is picked up after 4.00pm and returned by 8.30am the following day (maximum usage time 4 hours).
Ask about our special weekend rates - these are great value!
A hanful of key equipment is charged at a per hour rate - we'll discuss this with you before hire.
What are your shop opening hours?
HireShop Kaitaia is open 6 days for your convenience
Monday to Friday 7.00am to 5.30 pm
Saturdays 7.30am to 2.30pm
How do I pay for the hire equipment?
You can pay for your hire equipment by:
credit card (over the phone or in-store)
cash or EFTPOS in-store when you collect your item/s
All hires must be paid for prior to use, with no exceptions.
In some cases, we also require a security deposit - we'll let you know if this is the case.
Do you offer trade rates?
We support local trades people wherever possible - give us a call or drop into the shop to discuss trade rates.
Is insurance including with my hire?
Yes, insurance is included in your hire.
However if the hired item/s are lost stolen or damaged while in your possession you will be liable for an excess of $1000.00
