  • How do I make a hire booking?
    Once you've browsed our range of equipment for hire, simply fill out a hire booking request form online, free phone 0800 408 HIRE (4473) or drop in and see us at 134 North Road, Kaitaia
  • What are your opening hours?
    Hire Shop Kaitaia is open 6 days a week for your convenience. Monday to Friday - 7.00am to 5.30pm Saturdays - 7.30am to 3.00pm
  • What is the minimum rental period?
    We have Half Day, Full Day, Multi-day and Monthly hire options on most of our equipment and tools. The minimum hire period is our Half Day option of 4 hours or overnight providing the equipment is picked up after 4.00pm and returned by 8.30am the following day (maximum usage time is 4 hours overnight). Ask about our special weekend rates - these are great value! A handful of key equipment is charged at an hourly rate - we'll discuss this with you before hire.
  • Do you offer trade rates?
    We support local trades people wherever possible - give us a call or drop into the shop to discuss trade rates.
  • How do I pay for the hire equipment?
    You can pay for your hire equipment via: Credit card (over the phone or in-store) Cash or EFTPOS in-store when you collect your item/s All hires must be paid for prior to use - no exceptions. In some cases, we also require a security deposit - we'll let you know if this is the case.
  • Is insurance included with my hire?
    Yes, insurance is included in your hire. However, if the hired item/s are lost, stolen or damaged while in your possession you will be liable for an excess of $1,000.00
